Many of our guests travel from across Europe. Heiligenhafen is easy to reach whether you are coming from the north (Scandinavia) or from the south (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux). Below you will find the most convenient routes.
Heiligenhafen is located directly on the route towards Fehmarn and is easily accessible from all Scandinavian countries.
Travel south via the E47/E45 towards Germany. After crossing the border, continue on the A1 motorway towards Fehmarn and take the exit “Heiligenhafen Mitte”. This is the fastest and most direct route from Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Jutland.
The quickest route is via the Öresund Bridge (Malmö → Copenhagen) and then south on the E47 towards Germany. Alternatively, several ferry connections are available:
From Kiel or Travemünde, Heiligenhafen is approximately 45–60 minutes away via the A1 motorway.
If you are travelling from southern Germany or neighbouring countries, Heiligenhafen is easily reached via the A1 motorway heading north towards Fehmarn.
Take the exit “Heiligenhafen Mitte” and follow the signs towards the town centre or harbour area.
